Plans and Limits

Your plan determines how many events and routes you can manage, which exports are available and which organiser tools appear in your account.

SummitGPX now uses the same plan feature matrix for the pricing page and in-app access checks. The table below describes the standard configuration; the live pricing page and the controls shown in your account are authoritative if packages change.

Viewing Your Current Plan

To view your current subscription:

  1. Open Account Management.
  2. Navigate to Subscription & Billing.
  3. Review your current plan and account usage.

From here you can see your plan details and any applicable limits.

What Plan Limits Control

Depending on your subscription, limits and feature access may apply to:

  • Number of events
  • Number of routes
  • Private routes
  • Route updates and version history
  • Checkpoint management and checkpoint downloads
  • KML, TCX, FIT, CSV and PDF exports
  • Split GPX ZIP downloads and GPS/watch checkpoint points
  • Embeds, white label branding, analytics and team members

Your available limits are displayed within your account.

Monitoring Usage

As your account grows, SummitGPX tracks usage against your plan limits.

This helps you understand:

  • How many routes you have created
  • How many events are active
  • Whether you are approaching any plan limits

Monitoring usage helps ensure your organisation has access to the features and capacity it requires.

Upgrading Your Plan

You can upgrade your plan at any time.

Reasons for upgrading may include:

  • Managing additional events
  • Adding more routes
  • Making routes private
  • Updating routes after publication
  • Using Pro features such as checkpoints, version history, embeds, route playback, analytics and team members
  • Expanding your team

Upgrades take effect immediately after successful payment.

Downgrading Your Plan

If your requirements change, you can move to a lower plan.

Before downgrading, review your account usage to ensure it falls within the limits of the new plan.

If your account exceeds the limits of the selected plan, some actions may be restricted until usage is reduced or the account is upgraded again.

Billing

Paid plans are billed automatically through Stripe.

Depending on your subscription, billing may be:

  • Monthly
  • Annually

Invoices and payment information can be accessed from the billing section of your account.

VAT

Where applicable, VAT may be added during checkout in accordance with local tax regulations.

Any VAT charged will be shown during the payment process and included on your invoice.

Cancelling a Subscription

You can manage your subscription from within your account.

If a subscription is cancelled:

  • Existing account data is retained
  • Access continues until the end of the current billing period
  • Future payments are stopped

After the subscription period ends, account access and available features may change depending on your plan status.

Admin-only Account Controls

SummitGPX administrators have additional tools for managing customer accounts. These tools are only visible to admin users.

Admin users can search and review accounts, create accounts without Stripe checkout, edit plan and billing source, set complimentary expiry dates, add internal account notes, view users, see recent online status and remove accounts where required. They can also manage the shared Free, Starter and Pro feature matrix and event/route limits used by pricing and access checks.

Complimentary or manually billed accounts can be managed from the admin area. Expired complimentary access falls back to the Free plan.
