Units and language
Set organiser defaults and understand runner unit and language choices.
Set the route default
On the organiser page, the Units control beside the summary saves paired defaults: kilometres/metres or miles/feet. Review the map summary, elevation and checkpoint breakdown after changing it.

Runner unit choices
Runner unit selection is included with Free, Starter and Pro. Open Share and embed, enable Allow runners to choose units and choose Save unit preference setting. This lets runners choose kilometres or miles independently from metres or feet, with preferences remembered in that browser where storage is available. Tables and profiles follow the selected units.
When this option is off, the public page and embed show paired km/m and mi/ft buttons, so distance and elevation change together. The Mountain Ultra screenshots show that paired configuration. Turning on independent choices lets a runner use miles for distance and metres for climbing.

Choose your language
Use the account menu or language section in account settings to select British English, US English, French, German or Spanish. A signed-in user’s preference follows that user across devices, so colleagues can use different languages.
Public pages use supported visitor/browser language preferences. Some new controls can fall back to English. Interface and export labels can be translated, but your event names, route titles, checkpoint details and notes are not automatically translated. Add wording your runners can understand. This Help Centre offers the same five languages. Its language selector remembers your choice between the documentation, marketing website and pricing page.
